Hy-Vee announced last week that they will immediately revert the Wahlburger restaurants within their stores back to their own Market Grille restaurants, according to KCRG. The Wahlburger locations had been in Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Dubuque, Iowa City, and Cedar Falls. Hy-Vee says beginning on February 4th their Market Grille’s will roll out an updated menu with a wider variety of choices at an affordable price. Wahlburgers is owned by Paul Wahlberg, brother of celebrity singers and actors Donnie and Mark Wahlberg. Hy-Vee and Wahlburgers had been in a partnership since 2017.
