Wartburg COVID-19 Cases Drop

COVID-19 cases at Wartburg College have dropped dramatically. On September 4th the college had 65 current positive cases and 191 students in isolation or in quarantine. As of Tuesday morning, September 15th Wartburg has only 9 positive cases, 12 in isolation and 39 in quarantine. Wartburg is doing aggressive contact tracing and follow-up. The college considers a person recovered after they complete their 10 days of isolation and are symptom free. Bremer County uses a 30 day period before declaring a person recovered, therefore some will be recovered on the school’s website but yet not on the State’s website.
