Waterloo Grants

The Waterloo Community Foundation has announced the recipients of five grants for 2019, according to KWWL. This is the fourth year in a row that the foundation has awarded the grants. Five programs were selected from 27 applicants, all of which were compelling, according to Committee chair Dr Wilfred Johnson. This year’s recipients are EMBARC which stands for Ethnic Minorities of Burma Advocacy and Resource Center, Eye of the Needle, Inc, Try Pie, Waterloo Youth City Council, and the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony, which received their grant thanks to the financial support of Margaret Bradford.
