A Waterloo man has been arrested after police found a gun under his couch, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police responded to the home of 44 year old Jerry Gibson on Monday on a report of a disturbance. They found a pistol under his couch. He is barred from possessing firearms because of a felony Armed Robbery conviction in Mississippi in 2005. He was also charged with fifth degree Theft for allegedly taking money from a Goodwill in October of 2023.
