A Waterloo man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for having sexual contact with a child, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 35 year old Justin Dye had sexual contact with the child at a home in Waterloo in August and was arrested in October. Before being sentenced he requested a new trial arguing that the victim gave conflicting information and that he was the victim of a haphazard investigation. Dye will be subject to lifetime parole and must register as a sex offender when he is released.
