Waterloo man Sentenced to Prison

A Waterloo man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, according to KIMT. 36 year old Jonathan Martin was pleaded guilty to 3rd degree burglary and 1st degree theft after breaking into a property in Fertile in November of last year. In addition to the 10 year prison term, he will also have to pay $1,000 in restitution to his victims. The prison term will run at the same time as the 15 year prison sentence he is already serving for crimes in Cerro Gordo and Floyd counties. According to authorities, he broke into the Ventura Mart and the Town Mart in Rudd and attempted break ins at the Yesway in Rockford and Dugan’s Restaurant in Floyd.
