A chase in Waterloo and points to the south Saturday morning led to the arrest and a hospital stay for the driver, according to KWWL. Police were called to the Fairfield Inn in Waterloo around 7am on Saturday on a report of a car stolen out of the parking lot. Not long later law enforcement located the vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The car took off, leading police on a chase. It hit stop sticks deployed by Hudson Police at West Shaulis Road and Sergeant Road. The car continued on, however. In the 100 block of Reber Avenue, the car missed a turn and ended up in a driveway before striking a car followed by the garage of the home and finally a fence. The driver then got out and tried to run. They were quickly captured. The suspect became unresponsive while in custody and was taken to the hospital. Law enforcement is still trying to identify the driver at this time.
