Waterloo Roof Fire

A fire broke out on the roof of a building in Waterloo Thursday, according to KWWL. Officials say two men were resealing tar on the roof of a building on East 4th Street and had a batch of tar heating up when the fire broke out. The fire caused a large plume of black smoke. The blaze was quickly put out. No damage was done to the interior of the building and no injuries were reported.
