An employee at a Waterloo sewer treatment plant was killed Tuesday afternoon, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. John Hyman was found unresponsive inside a building. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. First reports said he was electrocuted to death, although the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident and have not yet confirmed the cause of death. Hyman had been a Waterloo sewer treatment plant employee for 18 years.
