Waterloo Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night, according to KWWL. Police were called to the 200 block of Hammond Avenue on reports of shots fired. When they arrived they did not find any injuries or damage done to property. However, later that night 22 year old Oscar Villafana went to the MercyOne Medical Center emergency room with a gunshot wound. His injuries have been described as non life threatening. No arrests have been made to this point. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
