Waterloo Police are investigating a shooting overnight Thursday that injured one, according to KWWL. Police were called to the area of West 9th Street and South Street. The shooting was determined to have taken place in the 100 block of Hammond Avenue, however. It is unclear what exactly took place but one individual suffered what were described as non life threatening injuries in the shooting. That person’s name has not yet been released. The shooter is still being sought at this time. If you have any information on the shooting you are asked to contact Waterloo Police. Police do say there is no threat to the public at this time.
