A Waterloo teenager will go to prison for possessing a firearm as a drug user, according to KCRG. 19 year old Vantez Wright Jr. pled guilty to one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Drug User. He admitted that in February of last year he used and sold marijuana regularly and preferred to have a gun at his house for protection. He has been sentenced to 15 months in prison. Once his prison sentence is complete, he will need to serve three years of supervised release.
