The victim of a fiery crash in Cerro Gordo County has been identified as a Waterloo woman. The Iowa State Patrol says that a 2022 Kia Telluride struck a bridge pillar in the Eastbound lanes Highway 18 near Nora Springs just after midnight on Wednesday. The SUV then burst into flames. There was one occupant of the vehicle, they were found deceased. That person has now been identified as 29 year old Samantha Grant.
