This weekend the Waverly Police Department is collaborating with the Drug Enforcement Association to hold a drug take-back day. People can come in and drop off any expired or unwanted prescription or over-the-counter medication at various locations around town.
Police Chief Richard Pursell comments on how this year’s collection may be different:
People can drop off their medications at either the Waverly Police Dept. or the Waverly Public Library between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. this Saturday. Aerosols, needles or sharp objects, and illegal drugs will not be accepted.
