Waverly Heritage Days is Thursday through Sunday. This year’s theme is “There’s No Place Like Waverly Heritage Days.”
The festival will kick off with a talent showcase in Kohlmann Park after the Waverly municipal band concert Thursday. On Friday the car show has returns and spectators will hear Richie Lee in the event tent. There will be kids inflatables as well as craft and food vendors open July 20-21. The Vic Ferrari band returns to close out Friday night.
The parade will be Saturday followed by activities including a bass fishing seminar, cat fishing seminar, duck calling contest, and a hunting dog training Seminar. Gameliner and KW Paintball will also be on the grounds for kids and adults to enjoy. The Pork Tornados wil perform Saturday night, followed by fireworks.
On Sunday a fishing tournament will be held, as well as the Lions Pancake Breakfast at the Waverly Municipal Airport.
