It’s time for a semi-annual event in Waverly – the Waverly Midwest Horse sale continues through Friday. Hundreds of visitors make come to Waverly from all over the U.S. And Canada.
Darrell Steege was working the front gate of the Waverly Midwest Horse Sale. He saw people from all over showing up to the event. He talks about some of the things that attract all of these visitors to Waverly.
A mother and daughter made the trip from Rapid City, South Dakota to the Waverly Midwest Horse Sale. This is something they had been planning for quite some time.

The sale begins at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday with tack, collectibles and buggies being sold. Wednesday night’s highlight will be the Catalog Draft Horse Preview around 5:00 p.m. in the big show ring.
