A Waverly man received a 25-year sentence on Oct. 16 after a judge convicted him of inappropriately touching a young girl. Dale Robert Tournier, 50, was found guilty in a bench trial for second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony. The verdict, by District Court Judge Christopher Foy, followed a two-day trial on May 31 and June 1 and entered on Aug. 7.
