The Waverly Police Department is advising citizens and visitors to protect their vehicles after multiple cars were reported stolen in recent weeks. They say to lock your car, take your keys with you, and hide your belongings. According to the police department most of the cars that have been stolen or have been broken into were left unlocked. They also mention that most of the stolen vehicles have been recovered and suspects are under investigation.
