The City of Waverly is in a financial pinch and is almost certainly going to close the pool this Summer.

The mayor says he is exploring arrangements with The W and other privately owned pools to give kids a place to swim this Summer. There is no such deal yet in place and a new pool is not yet in a future budget but could be soon, according to the mayor.
