The Bremer Avenue reconstruction project is coming to a close after two full construction seasons and numerous delays. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation next Monday is projected to be the completion date, though some areas may not be open until later in the week.
Waverly City Administrator James Bronner lays out the plan for the upcoming week:
Due to Wartburg Homecoming activities, 8th Street and 10th Street West will be open to traffic over the weekend, but will be closed again on Monday until the area is ready to be completely open to the public.
