A Waverly woman already awaiting trial for stealing from a dementia patient, has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a woman in a Marion nursing home, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 20 year old Elisabeth Hutchison was arrested on a Linn County warrant on November 19th. She is accused of taking a debit card belonging to a resident of Silver Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation in June. Hutchison allegedly made $638 worth of purchases on the card. Last December she allegedly wrote a $2,000 check to herself from a dementia patient’s checkbook. She is scheduled to go to trial in that case in January.
