With many streams and rivers bulging out of their banks around the midwest it is not a bad idea for Waverly residents to pay attention to Cedar River projections from the National Weather Service.
Waverly City Engineer Mike Cherry suggests looking at readings from Janesville, he explains why there instead of somewhere upstream.
