A Minnesota woman was arrested after being pulled over on US Highway 218 at Lone Tree Road for driving under the influence with a seven year old in the backseat and her front seat passenger was arrested for violating a no contact order, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 50 year old Jaronda Washington of St. Paul was initially pulled over for driving 75mph in a 65mph zone at 7:30 Saturday morning. Troopers reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and found a couple blunts in the center console. Washington told the trooper she had smoked weed at 3:00 and 6:15 a.m. and the night prior had taken several anti-depressant, anti-anxiety and PTSD medications. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, first offense Operating Under the Influence, and Child Endangerment. The passenger, Ricardo Smith, had a no contact order with Washington and the child. He was arrested for violating that order.
