Woman Arrested for Stabbing Women

Waterloo Police have arrested a woman they believe stabbed three other women in a store parking lot on Thursday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 24 year old Shakarra Graves has been charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury and one count of Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury. Police say she stabbed Fatmata Mahhen and Vackie Manneh in the abdomen, lower back, and chest in the parking lot in front of Earth’s Beauty Supply just before noon on Thursday. Mahhen and Manneh were both taken to the hospital where they underwent surgery. A third victim, Mardia Sarwah, was stabbed in the lower back and drove herself to the hospital. Police believe the stabbings were a result of an ongoing dispute. Graves has previous charges for a fight at the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center in 2024 and a fight in the Allen Hospital emergency department waiting room in February.
