A Waterloo woman has been arrested after attempting to run a man over and firing a gun at him, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 34 year old Shonta Mabry has been charged with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Domestic Abuse Assault, and Possession of Marijuana. Police say Mabry and a man she had an intimate relationship with were in a vehicle on West Airline Highway when an argument broke out. Mabry allegedly made the man get out of the car before trying multiple times to run him over. She then got out and fired at least one shot at the man before forcing him to get back in the car at gunpoint. Police found the couple in the car in the parking lot of the Fantasy Theater. The man had a bloody wound to his head, but claimed he did not know how it happened. Mabry was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail early Sunday morning before posting a $15,000 bond around noon.
