A Waterloo woman serving a life sentence for a cutting the throats of her young sons, killing one, is asking for a new trial. 44-year-old Michelle Kehoe was in court Thursday for a hearing on her motion. She testified that she should get a new trial, because her diminished mental state kept her from taking the stand in her 2009 trial.
