A Waterloo woman has died after she was run over by her own vehicle in her driveway, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 69 year old May Berry pulled her 1978 Ford into her driveway on Parker Street just before 1;00 p.m. on Tuesday. She then got out and began unloading groceries when the vehicle started to roll backwards, knocking Berry down and then rolling over her before it struck a parked Ford Explorer. Berry was rushed to Allen Hospital but was pronounced dead there. Police believe Berry failed to fully put the vehicle into park.
