A Charles City woman has pleaded guilty on the one year anniversary of her baby suffering a severe head injury, according to KIMT. 20 year old Madison Geerts and 23 year old Ezekiel Larson were both charged with Child Endangerment Causing Serious Injury. Larson was the only person taking care of the baby boy when he suffered the head injury. Geerts, who was aware of the injury, failed to get the boy medical help for four days despite him vomiting and not eating or sleeping. She has been sentenced to five years of probation. Larson has pleaded not guilty but a plea hearing for him has been set for September 18th.
