A Waterloo woman has been sentenced for setting a fire that damaged a home and garage in October, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 38 year old Kristen Golliher entered an Alford Plea to a reduced charged of second degree Arson on Thursday. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a restraining order between her and her victim was extended. Golliher set a trash can on fire next to the home of Scott Overmann. Overmann had recently moved into the home and Golliher had visited Overmann at the home earlier in the day. The fire caused significant damage to the home and garage but no injuries were reported.
