A Waterloo woman was rushed to the hospital after being shot early Sunday morning, according to KWWL. Police and fire crews were called to 114 Edwards Street shortly before 5:00 am Sunday for a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found a 27 year old woman with a gunshot wound. She was taken to Allen Hospital where she is listed in serious but stable condition. Her name has not yet been released. It is unclear at this time what led to the shooting or who pulled the trigger.
