An Independence man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a woman early Saturday morning, according to KWWL. 29 year old Cole Johnson has been charged with Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury, first degree Harassment, and three counts of Child Endangerment. Johnson’s alleged victim was reportedly running from door to door yelling for help after being stabbed until a neighbor finally opened their door and fashioned a homemade tourniquet to stop the bleeding. The woman was taken to the hospital for injuries not thought to be life threatening. Johnson is being held in the Buchanan County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
