A Waterloo woman who admitted to hitting a bicyclist with her vehicle will be getting out of prison early, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 27 year old Frankie Price struck Gerrick Stotser, of Cedar Falls, as he rode his bike on Greenhill Road back on February 2nd of 2020. She continued driving and did not call 911 until an hour after the collision. By that point other motorists had called 911 after they struck Stotser in the road. Stotser was killed in the incident. Price was sentenced to up to five years in prison despite corrections officials recommending probation. Her sentence has now been reduced to two to five years due to her completing her program goals while behind bars.
