Curbside yard waste pickup in Waverly will begin on Monday. The City of Waverly will offer free curbside pickup of leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, brush and sticks from April 20th through May 1st. Yard waste should be placed in biodegradable bags and brush and sticks need to be tied into bundles no larger than four feet in length, one and a half feet in diameter and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Those looking to take advantage of this service should place their yard waste materials at their front curb on their regular garbage collection day. Items not in biodegradable bags or bundled as described will not be picked up.
