An 18 year old male was shot in Waterloo Sunday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The man was taken by paramedics to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest before being transferred to a hospital in Des Moines. His identity and condition have not been made available to this point. No arrests have been reported. Police say this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. This was the second shooting that Waterloo Police responded to over the weekend. They also responded to a report of gunfire in the area of East Fourth and Park streets at around 8:25pm on Saturday. The details of that shooting have not been released.
