Man Died From Car Burning in Waterloo

A Manchester man has died after being pulled from a burning car inside a downtown Waterloo parking ramp, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Fire Crews were called to the ramp at 180 W 5th St around 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning. They found smoke coming from the second level. They pulled 30 year old Roger Stoddard from the burning minivan and rushed him to Allen Hospital but he was pronounced dead there. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
