Tuesday night on KWAY Country the 9th ranked Waverly-Shell Rock girls beat Forest City 55-51. Katelyn Eggena scored 17 points and Brenna Bodensteiner added 15 in the win.
Tuesday night on Y99.3 Dunkerton swept Janesville. The Raiders got 21 points from Maeson Wolff to win the girls game 57-22. In the boys game the Wildcats used 19 points from Keegan Eastman to push the 5th ranked Raiders to the limit but Dunkerton won 51-48.
In other boys basketball: Cedar Falls topped Iowa City Liberty 84-78, Tripoli beat Clarksville 69-46. Decorah ran by Denver 86-48, Don Bosco topped Riceville 56-44, Hudson beat Sumner-Fredericksburg 85-41 and Grundy Center edged Wapsie Valley 68-66.
In girls basketball: Cedar Falls beat Iowa City Liberty 68-53, Clarksville crushed Tripoli 62-27, Decorah beat Denver 71-54, Sumner-Fredericksburg edged Hudson 48-45, Grundy Center beat Wapsie Valley 45-27, Des Moines North crushed Waterloo East 55-31 and Waterloo West beat Iowa City West 69-52.
