Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock volleyball team swept Oelwein. The Go-Hawks won 25-14, 25-7 and 25-10. The Go-Hawks move to 20-3 on the year and 2-0 in the conference. Oelwein is now 0-16 and 0-1.
Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Waterloo Columbus volleyball team swept Aplington-Parkersburg 25-23, 25-14 and 25-21. Faith Freshwater led everyone with 10 kills in the win.
In other area volleyball Tuesday night: Cedar Falls swept Cedar Rapids Prairie, Cedar Rapids Kennedy beat Waterloo West in 4, Dike-New Hartford swept Jesup, Hudson swept Sumner-Fredericksburg, Janesville swept Riceville and Waterloo Christian, Osage swept Nashua-Plainfield and Waterloo Christian swept Riceville.
