Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock volleyball team served up 16 aces in a sweep of Crestwood. The Go-Hawks won 25-17, 25-7 and 25-10. Waverly-Shell Rock is now 16-0 on the year and 1-0 in conference.
In other area volleyball Tuesday night: Cedar Falls swept Western Dubuque, Dike-New Hartford swept Denver, Dubuque Senior swept Waterloo East, Dunkerton swept Meskwaki Settlement, Nashua-Plainfield beat Central Springs in 4, New Hampton swept Charles City, North Butler swept Saint Ansgar, Sumner-Fredericksburg swept Jesup, Union beat Hudson in 4 and Wapsie Valley swept Aplington-Parkersburg.
