The governor, the Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union are allowing schools to have a Summer sports season. The Belmond-Klemme Community School district will not allow their students to compete in baseball or softball this Summer. The school board meeting where they made the call was held Thursday night and published on Facebook. Belmond-Klemme’s decision will impact the schedules of other teams and may impact the decisions of other school districts in the state of Iowa.
