Former Janesville Wildcat and current UNI sophomore libero Kendyl Sorge has been honored as the Missouri Valley Conference volleyball defensive player of the week. Sorge had 49 digs in three matches last week.
The Panthers will be back in action Tuesday, Sept 13 at 7:00 in their home opener against the Iowa State Cyclones. Tickets are available for the match for only $1. UNI is looking to set its home attendance mark in the McLeod Center – record stands at 6,621.
