Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Crestwood 10-4 to remain in first place in the Northeast Iowa Conference. The game was tied 4-4 until the Go-Hawks scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th.
Waverly-Shell Rock is headed to the Prange Tournament Friday. They play Class 4A 6th ranked Des Moines Roosevelt in Johnston Friday and Class 3A 9th ranked Sioux City Bishop Heelan in Ankeney on Saturday.
