According to KWWL, a house fire on Harwood Avenue Saturday morning left two people injured.
Waterloo Fire Rescue says crews responded to the scene at about 8:08 a.m. When they arrived, they could see flames in the front windows, and two people were outside the home.
They found a third person inside the bedroom of the home who was taken to the hospital with what seemed to be severe injuries. One of the people who had escaped the house was also taken to the hospital later in the day.
