Saturday the Waverly-Shell Rock girls soccer team finished as State runner-up for the 5th time in school history. Dallas Center-Grimes beat the Go-Hawks 2-0 to earn their first championship in school history and finish the year 22-0. Waverly-Shell Rock finished 18-2 with losses only to DC-G.
Go-Hawks Morgan Aikey, Lindsey Overmann and Macy Smith were named to the All-Tournament Team.
