A new state law has been proposed that would charge any person under the age of 18 who got a piecing anywhere but the earlobes with out parental consent with a misdemeanor.
Head Body Piercer at Mohair Pear in Cedar Falls, Sarah Davis, tells us why she is in favor of the law.
Davis, who is from California, adds Iowa currently has some of the most lenient piercing laws. The piercer would also be charged with a misdemeanor under the proposed law.
