The NFL Draft was held Thursday through Saturday. Iowa’s universities were represented, exclusively by Hawkeyes being drafted. In round one Hawkeye offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs was taken by Tampa Bay. In round two Iowa’s defensive end AJ Epensesa was selected by Buffalo. In round three cornerback Michael Ojemudia was drafted by Denver. In round seven Iowa’s safety Geno Stone was selected by Baltimore and quarterback Nate Stanley was taken by Minnesota.
