Starting Monday, March 28, Bremer Avenue in Waverly will be closed starting at Subway and going to Taco Johns. Waverly city engineer Mike Cherry says the city is doing what they can to get the project done as quickly as possible.
Cherry says the construction should be complete by the early part of June. The official detour will take truck traffic down 4th Street to 10th Avenue, back across Highway 3 in the West. Local traffic will have to find their own way.
