W-SR Fighting for NEIC Title

Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock girls played for the first time in ten days and beat New Hampton 47-34. The Chickasaws cut the Go-Hawk lead down to 5 points in the second half but W-SR was able to hold them off. Abbie Draper led the Go-Hawks with 17 points.

With Thursday night’s win the Go-Hawk girls and Crestwood are tied for the conference lead. Waverly-Shell Rock will host Crestwood Friday night at 7:30 on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3. The boys will play at Crestwood.
