Monday night on Y99.3 the Clarksville Indian girls punched their ticket to State in Class 1A. The Indians beat North Butler 55-20 as they led pole to pole. Clarksville will be the 4-seed and will face 5-seeded Marquette Catholic next Wednesday at 3:15 in Des Moines. Y99.3 will have all action of the Indians at State.
Two other area girls teams qualified for State as well. Dike-New Hartford crushed Panorama 50-15 and Aplington-Parkersburg beat Ridge View 62-55. Dike-New Hartford will be the 5-seed and Aplington-Parkersburg will be the 7-seed in Class 2A next week.
The Sumner-Fredericksburg girls fell to Grundy Center 72-37 in the Regional Finals Monday night.
