Tuesday night in college men’s basketball the UNI Panthers got 20 points from both A.J. Green and Trae Berhows as UNI knocked off 23rd ranked Colorado on the road 79-76.
Tuesday the UNI women rolled over Omaha 81-46 as Karli Rucker scored 19 points.
Former Go-Hawk and current UNI Panther Bryce Steiert has been named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week after going 4-1 for the week and leading UNI to a fourth-place finish at the prestigious Cliff Keen Invite. This serves as the first Conference honor of the senior’s career.
The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its All-Region selections for 2019. UNI landed Head Coach Bobbie Petersen, senior outside hitter Karlie Taylor and senior setter Rachel Koop made the AVCA All-Midwest Region Teams.
