UNI Goes Online Only

The University of Northern Iowa has announced that they will put a halt to on campus courses and move them exclusively to online instruction due to the coronavirus scare. The move will take place after Spring Break on Monday, March 23 and will last at least until Friday, April 3. A release from the school says that while the public health risk remains low, the university is acting under guidance from the Iowa Board of Regents and medical experts. During the time no on campus courses will be meeting the campus and its residence halls and dining facilities will remain open and instructors will be allowed to teach either from their offices or off-site. Similar plans have been put in place at the University of Iowa and Iowa State University as well as many others across the country.
